The Gujarat Titans (GT) were defeated by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by eight wickets in the 47th IPL 2025 event, which took place on April 28 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The RR had managed to chase down a challenging goal of 210 runs in just 15.5 overs.

The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi led RR's chase in response, scoring 101 runs off of only 38 balls, including seven fours and 11 sixes, in an incredible display. His century, which he reached in 35 balls, was the fastest by an Indian player and the second-fastest in IPL history. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was still undefeated at 70, and Suryavanshi formed a 166-run opening partnership that laid the groundwork for RR's victorious chase.
