G11-Fantasy Cricket Prediction for Today's Match

Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman will continue to be the head of the National Cricket Academy. His tenure will be extended for one year. Laxman's three-year contract expires next month in September. Earlier it was being said that he could become the head coach of a franchise for next year's IPL season.

Laxman has rejected all these possibilities and accepted the proposal to extend his tenure as NCA chief. Along with him, the tenure of his colleagues Sitanshu Kotak, Sairaj Bahutule and Rishikesh Kanitkar will also be extended.

Laxman was handed over the command of NCA in the year 2021 by Sourav Ganguly while he was the President of BCCI.

NCA is going to shift to new campus

The National Cricket Academy will now shift to the new campus. Earlier it was being operated at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The new state-of-the-art NCA complex will have at least 100 pitches, including 45 indoor pitches. Apart from three international-sized grounds, a modern rehabilitation center, accommodation facilities and an Olympic-sized pool, many other facilities are included. All these works at the National Cricket Academy are in their final stages. Players are likely to get all these facilities from the beginning of next year.

Laxman was given the responsibility after Dravid became the head coach

Before Laxman, Rahul Dravid was in charge of NCA. After Dravid was made the head coach of Team India in the year 2021, the responsibility of NCA was handed over to Laxman. During his first three-year tenure at NCA, Laxman has prepared a great roadmap for injury management, player rehabilitation, coaching programs and women's cricket with senior team-junior team.
