Virat Kohli breaks silence on his removal as India’s ODI captain

There have been a lot of speculations going around since the announcement and Virat Kohli finally broke his silence on the situation during a press conference on Wednesday. He made a shocking revelation that he was not even told that he was being removed as India's ODI captain.

"Before the selection call, I was told I won't be the captain and I said okay. After the meeting, we had a brief chat and that's it. I was not communicated at all," Kohli told the media.

Virat Kohli also confirmed his availability for selection for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa, putting rest to all the rumours and reports. "I will be available for the ODI series against South Africa, I was always available," Kohli said.
