The second match of the Big Bash League 2022 will see a contest between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers. The two sides last met in the Challenger game of the previous edition of the tournament. Both cleared the league stage and moved further. When they met in the tournament’s penultimate game last season, Sixers emerged victorious and made it to the final.

Sixers ended the previous season as runners-up, after losing to Perth Scorchers in the final. Travis Head, the Strikers’ skipper, is currently on national duty and thus the team will be led by Chris Lynn. On the other hand, the Sixers will be led by all-rounder Moises Henriques. Jake Weatherald is the big name in Australian domestic circuit but he's not able make his impact in international lavel. He has the most runs of any player at Adelaide Oval in 39 innings, he's accumulated 1101 runs at an average 30.58 & SR of 135.09. Must have pick.

Moises Henriques :

Moises Henriques fantastic batting allrounder and he was the leading run-scorer for the Sixers last season. He made 440 runs in 15 innings at an average of 36.66 and a strike rate of 133.33. Will be a great fantacy captain pick for this match.

James Vince :

James Vince is the quality top order batter and most consistent performer in the BBL, scoring 1427 runs at a strike rate of 132.62. He has scored over 300 runs in two of the last three seasons for the Sixers. Vince has been in good form all year, top-scoring in the T20 Blast with 678 runs in 16 matches. With Vince likely to bat in the top order again, he is a good choice as captain or vice-captain in your fantasy team team.

Adam Hose :

Adam Hose is the young talented batter who's smashed a half-century in his last outing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He had a great outing in the Hundred this year and scored 182 runs at a strike rate of 159.64. Punt pick.

Matthew Short :

Matthew Short is a very talented all-rounder and will contribute with both bat and ball. He was the scored 493 runs at an impressive average of 32.05 in 16 matches in the last season. Short has struck 450 runs at an average of 25.00 and strike rate of 133.53. At Adelaide. He will open the innings and can also bowl 2-3 overs with the ball and is a must-have pick.

Dan Christian :

Dan Christian is a very experienced player and will contribute with both bat and ball. He was the scored 264 runs & also picked up 7 wickets in last season. Christian can pick 1-2 wickets with the ball and do some late hitting with the bat.

Hayden Kerr :

Hayden Kerr was the one of the top performers in last season for his team, while picking up 25 wickets in just 17 matches. He is the leading wicket-taker in the tournament and has taken 125 wickets in 94 matches at an average of 20.87, an economy of 8.48, and a strike rate of 14.78. Though his economy rate is on the higher side, he has proved to be successful under crunch situations. He’ll be able to provide his side with the necessary breakthroughs, good pick.

Ben Dwarshius :

Ben Dwarshius is a left-arm fast bowler and will bowl in death and scalped 17 wickets in 14 matches in last season. Dwarshius can pick up wickets in bulk and is a trump card pick.

Nathan Lyon :

Nathan Lyon is the test match specialist for Australia can turn around T20s as well on his day. A game with a bouncy pitch will be perfect for him.
