Pitch Report :
The pitch at the Tony Ireland Stadium provides a neutral wicket from where both departments are anticipated to receive a reasonable amount of assistance from the surface. Townsville track to provide some assistance to the spinners, particularly as the series goes on, so spinners can come lethal in the middle overs. There should be enough help available for the pacers with extra pace and bounce being a key trait of Australian pitches.
The average first innings score in the last 5 ODI matches has been 230 runs.
Weather Report :
The temperature is expected to hover around 19°C on the Saturday with 82% humidity and 16 km/hr wind speed. There are 20% chances of rain during the game.

Preview :
Australia have dominated Zimbabwe in the first two ODIs of the series. While the hosts sealed the first ODI with a 5-wicket courtesy of Cameron Green's 5-fer and 57 & 48 runs respectively by Steven Smith and David Warner, Australia completely thrashed the Zimbabwe side after bowling them out for 96 runs. Steven Smith scored 47 runs in the 2nd ODI and has been the leading run scorer in the ongoing series.
The Australian bowlers haven't shown any mercy to the Zimbabwe batters, bowling them out for a total below the par target against a side like Australia. All-rounder Cameron Green picked up 5 wickets in the first match, while spinner Adam Zampa picked up 3 wickets each in both the ODIs. Starc has grabbed 4 wickets in this series so far, with Josh Hazlewood, Ashton Agar and Mitchell Marsh picking one wicket each.
Wesley Madhevere has been the top scorer for Zimbabwe in this series with 72 runs in 2 innings. Apart from that, none of the other batters have been able to cross the 50-run mark individually and would look to avoid the clean sweep by pulling off a respectable performance.
The Zimbabwean bowling more or less has been equally dismal as the batting. Richard Ngarava & Ryan Burl have managed 3 scalps each while Sikandar Raza has one wicket to his name in the top 10 wicket-takers of the series.
