Preview :

We have arguably the most anticipated clash of the season with Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Chennai Super Kings.
This match is significant in many ways and the rivalry between the two is massive despite there being utmost respect for each other. With Faf du Plessis moving to Royal Challengers Bangalore from Chennai Super Kings, there will be a lot to see about as far as the batting of the two sides is concerned. There are many other facets in this match that you would not want to miss.

Not often do you see Chennai Super Kings losing as many matches on the trot, let alone at the beginning of the season. The last time it happened was way back in 2010 when they lost four matches on the trot and then went on to lift the title. They will be hoping to turn back the clock and bounce back into contention but they will also know that they are in such a delicate situation them to the ninth spot for the time being, but given the way they have played up until now, they will grab that with both hands.
Chennai Super Kings are indeed missing the presence of a reliable batsman at the top and who better than Faf du Plessis could have done the job. However, not to be. While Robin Uthappa has looked good in the few outings, he has been a tad too inconsistent. Ruturaj Gaikwad, on the other hand, is yet to find form. He looked good in the last match only to be dismissed by a terrific delivery by T Natarajan.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are arguably the most popular side to not have a title to its name so far. They have featured some of the stars of the game, right from the inaugural edition of the tournament to the current season but their on-paper strength hasn't always converted into the performances. We have seen them come close often and they would want to go all the way this time around.
With an experienced captain and top-order batsman in Faf du Plessis and an experienced Indian batter to follow at number three, Royal Challengers Bangalore have everything they would want, as far as the top-order is concerned. Anuj Rawat has impressed and will be looking to continue building on his form in the upcoming match as well.
Batting-wise, there's hardly anything that has not clicked for the Royal Challengers up until now. They were in some sort of trouble against Rajasthan Royals but Dinesh Karthick and Shahbaz Ahmed bailed them out beautifully. Plus, they have the likes of Wanindu Hasaranga and David Willey available near the bottom of the order and that just speaks volumes about the kind of depth they have with the bat.

Team Guide

Make various team combination with the help of these information.

Wicket keepers :

Ms Dhoni :

MS Dhoni seems to be in good touch since the first match of this season. He has scored 82 runs in 4 matches of this season. has a solid record against RCB. The former CSK captain has aggregated 836 runs at an average of 41.60 and a strike-rate of 141.21. So far, he can be backed as vice-captain.

Anuj Rawat :

Anuj Rawat scored a brilliant 66 runs in the last game against Mumbai Indians. He has scored 113 runs in 4 matches of this season, he is an attacking player at the top and looks to score aggressively in the power play. Rawat will be the best pick if Rcb batting second.

Dinesh Karthik :

If you look at Dinesh Karthik's IPL journey so far, this season has been his best. Playing as a finisher for RCB this season. He has scored 97 runs in all the four matches of this season while remaining not out. There will be good options for the Grand league.

Batters :

Virat Kohli :

Virat Kohli has been important player for the RCB, He has been batting well and has amassed 106 runs in four innings at a strike-rate of 135.89 so far. Moreover, he has a splendid record against CSK with 948 runs at an average of 41.21 which includes nine fifties.
Kohli smashed 48 runs in the last match and could earn hefty fantasy points in this match as well, will be a decent c/vc pick.

Faf du Plessis:

Du Plessis will open the innings for RCB. With CSK’s failing to pick wickets in the power play He can play a big knock and give lots of points in fantasy cricket. He has been in fantastic form over the last few games with 138 runs from his last 4 matches. Faf will be an excellent captaincy choice for this match.

Glenn Maxwell :

Glenn Maxwell may be a vital pick. The Australian all-rounder played two balls against MI and struck boundaries on both of those. He was superb last season as well where he got 513 runs at a strike-rate of 144.10. Punt c/vc pick.

Ruturaj Gaikwad :

Ruturaj Gaikwad this season has been like a nightmare for them. In the four matches played this season, only 18 runs have been scored, out of which 16 runs in the last match. However, he has a good record against RCB and has accumulated 136 runs in three innings against them.
Punt pick.

Robin Uthappa :

Robin Uthappa has been getting some good starts in this IPL 2022. He has smashed 106 runs and has a strike-rate of 153.62. He has also recorded a half-century against Lucknow. Good pick from Csk for the fantasy side.

Shivam Dube:

Shivam Dube will bat in the middle-order for CSK. He scored 49 and 57 in the two games before the last one. He will be very crucial for CSK, Performs very well with the bat and seems to be in good form but has been seen struggling a bit with the bowling. Did not even bowl in the last two matches, but before that the bowling proved to be very expensive. Good pick for this game.

Ambati Rayudu :

Ambati Rayudu has got a very good start in every match, he has scored in double figure in every match of this season, he has not been able to convert good starts into big innings. He has scored only 82 runs in four matches played this season. Punt pick.

All-rounder :

Ravindra Jadeja :

Ravindra Jadeja is a player who can turn the match on his own at any time. Whether it is with bowling or with his batting. Have not been able to do anything special with bowling in this season, have taken only one wicket. He has scored 66 runs in 4 innings at
a strike rate of 120 while also picking up a wicket, great pick for fantasy captain.

Wanindu Hasaranga:

Wanindu Hasaranga is a genuine wicket-taker and is in good form as well. He picked 2 wickets in the last game. Wanindu can give a lot of points with his bowling as well as batting. He has so far taken 8 wickets in four matches of this season, which is the highest for RCB, and he has not got that much opportunity in batting. will be another top captaincy option for this match.

Moeen Ali:

Moeen Ali will bat at number 3 for CSK. He is an attacking batter and scored 48 runs in the last game. Moeen will bowl an over or two as well. He will be a great captaincy choice for this match as he will contribute with both bat and the ball.

Shahbaz Ahmed :

This season has been very good for them with the bat where he has scored 72 runs in two innings of four matches and has not been able to take any wickets with the help of bowling. Punt pick.

David Willey :

The season hasn't been anything special for David Willey. In four matches of this season so far he has managed to take only one wicket and has contributed only 18 runs with the bat. He might not get a chance to play in this match. Hazlewood can play in his place.

Bowler :

Dwayne Bravo :

Dwayne Bravo is indispensable to the Super
Kings bowling unit for his skill and vast
experience. He is the leading wicket-taker for CSK in this competition. The veteran seam-bowling all-rounder has taken six wickets in four games. Must have pick.

Josh Hazelwood :

Josh Hazelwood has been seen practicing bowling during the practice session, so in the absence of Harshal Patel, he can prove to be very useful. He has so far taken 12 wickets in 12 matches of his IPL career. He is a very good bowler, if we talk about international T20 matches, then he has taken 40 wickets in 27 matches, which is quite good. Must have pick.

Akash Deep :

Akash Deep will bowl with the new ball and in the middle-overs for RCB. Akash Deep has been very consistent with the ball. He picked up a wicket in the last game. Have managed to pick up 5 wickets in four matches of this season so far, and Chennai's top order is not looking strong enough, in that condition they can pick up wickets in bulk in the opening over.

Chris Jordan :

Chris Jordan unfortunately wicketless in last game, he
has contributed 2 wickets for the Kings in this season so far. Jordan will be bowling the crucial overs and can hunt wickets in bunches. Good pick.

Mohammad Siraj:

Mohammad Siraj could not take any wicket in the last 2 matches. In the previous two matches, he had taken 3 wickets. Overall, in this season's four matches so far, he has been able to take only three wickets. The last two matches have also been quite expansive. Very good bowler, can make a comeback in this match and can be a useful pick for the fantasy side.
