DC have lost three matches in a lop-sided manner while MI hasn’t been able to compete against two of their fiercest rivals in CSK and RCB. Delhi Capitals changed the batting lineup in their previous fixture against Rajasthan Royals as their talisman all-rounder Mitchell Marsh went home to Australia for his wedding. The return of Manish Pandey to DC at no. 3 in the batting order didn’t last for long as he ended up getting out for a golden duck. Lalit Yadav played a very good inning of 38(24) to steady the ship for Delhi alongside captain David Warner but it was too little for them to pose a challenge to the 199 total put up by RR.
