Pitch Report :
The surface at the Arun Jaitley Stadium is a balanced surface, and is expected to equally assist the both Batters & bowlers once again here. The pitch here used to be favorable for spinners, but over recent years, it has undergone significant modification. If the first few overs batsmen get out with patience without losing wickets, then they can score runs at a fast pace in the middle overs and the end overs. Along with this, the due factor is often seen in the field of Mohali. In such a situation, whichever team wins the toss today can decide to bowl first.
The average first innings score on this wicket is 245 runs.
Weather Report :
The temperature is expected to hover around 26°C on the Tuesday with 80% humidity and 5-7 km/hr wind speed. There are 70% chances of precipitation during the game.

Preview :
India and South Africa will be taking on each other for one last time in the 3-match ODI series on Tuesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Both the teams have won one game each so far, and the decider has been set up nicely.
After a close defeat by 9 runs in the first game, India made a massive comeback to win the second game by 7 wickets. Mohammad Siraj was the star with the ball for the home side, hunting 3 scalps and giving away just 38 off his 10. With the bat, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan were the top performers, with the former scoring an unbeaten ton while the latter added 93 runs to his tally. India lost the toss and was asked to field first in the second ODI match. We don’t think that the bowlers of India were good in that match. They leaked 278 runs in 50 overs. Mohammad Siraj proved the most successful and highest wicket-taker from their side who picked three wickets in ten overs against just 38 runs. Shardul Thakur performed well and picked one wicket in five overs against 36 runs. Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Kuldeep Yadav also picked one wicket each. Avesh Khan was the only bowler who failed to pick any wicket but he was the economical bowler and leaked just 35 runs in seven overs.
The batting order of South Africa was good in the second match and it was the bowling department that failed to give the best performance and they lost the match. South Africa put a total of 278 runs on the board in 50 overs. Quinton de Kock was in good form but he failed to put some big runs on the board and scored just five runs. The rest of the batters were good in the previous match and almost each and every batter put some runs on the board. Aiden Markram proved the most successful and highest run-scorer in the previous match with 79 runs to his name on 89 balls with the help of seven boundaries and one huge six. R Hendricks also performed well with the bat and scored 74 runs. He faced 76 balls and smashed nine boundaries and one huge six.Another outstanding game of cricket is anticipated on Tuesday as the series stands on the line and the winner of this game will take the series home.
