Pitch Report :
The pitch is flat but it does have a little help for the spinners. The outfield is blazingly fast and the dimensions of the ground are not the biggest either. All of this means that matches are usually high-scoring with a number of big hits to enjoy.

Preview :
The Multan Sultans finally broke the 100% winning record for chasing teams in PSL 2022 by winning their previous match against Quetta Gladiators after batting first. That was the third win in succession for Multan Sultans and it is firmly in the top spot at the moment.
They will now go against Islamabad United. This will be the second match that Islamabad United is going to play after winning its first one quite comfortably. The cricket betting sites have Islamabad United as a slight favorite to win this match.
Islamabad United won its opening match against Peshawar Zalmi by 9 wickets. That performance was a statement that the most successful team in the group stage of PSL 6 is still a force to be reckoned with. Not only was the batting very impressive, led by paul Stirling, Alex Hales, and Rahmanulah Gurbaz but the bowling was superb as well.
Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali picked up early wickets while Shadab Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Merchant de Lange kept the pressure on during the middle.
It was a complete performance that showed the kind of depth that Islamabad United has in its batting as well as the variety that exists in its bowling lineup.
Multan Sultans have won three out of the three matches they have played. Perhaps their win in the previous match against Quetta was the most impressive since it came while defending an average total. Also, Mohammad Rizwan got out for a duck and that was a huge test for the team.
Shan Masood led the way with the bat and was well supported by a powerful middle-order to ensure that the Multan Sultans got to a 170 plus total. Almost every single batsman in the lineup has now had quality time in the middle and can be said to be in good form.
We also think the six-hitting potential of Sohaib Maqsood, Tim David, and Khushdil Shah down the line is a tremendous asset to have.
