The pitch at Wankhede Stadium has always been good for batting. There is an even bounce on the track, and the shorter boundaries make the job even easier for the batters. LSG smashed 195 on this ground on Sunday. There is a lot of dew in second inning so Toss Wining team love to bowl first the team chasing team winning 6 of the 11 matches.

Preview :
Kolkata Knight Riders will be squaring off against Rajasthan Royals for the second time in the forty-seventh match of this season of the Tata IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders are currently placed at the eighth position on the points table of this season of the Tata IPL whereas Rajasthan Royals is currently placed at the second spot on the points table.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have made a mess of their campaign in the ongoing IPL 2022. They started off pretty well with three wins in the first four matches and were reckoned as the team to beat in the tournament. However, their downfall began after Delhi Capitals hammered them in a high scoring contest and exposed their batting unit.
KKR is on a five-match losing streak currently and would be hoping to bounce back with a win against Rajasthan Royals in its next assignment.
Royals themselves will be licking their wounds a little after becoming Mumbai Indians’ first victim of the season. They have had a terrific campaign so far led by the likes of Jos Buttler, Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin, but a 10-team league means that even a 6-3 record does not mean a top two spot – or place in the playoffs for that matter – is set in stone. The positive is that they have the opportunity to bounce back quickly, and they need to do so if they have visions of finishing in the top two.
For KKR, the stakes are far more desperate than that. At time of writing (before the CSK-SRH match), they sit four points outside the top four having played an extra game than fourth-placed SRH. They are in total freefall at the moment, with too much reliance on the likes of Shreyas Iyer and Andre Russell with the bat. If this continues, they will surely kiss their fading playoffs’ hopes goodbye sooner rather than later.

Managed to continue with his amazing batting spree in the last match after adding 67 runs. Buttler has a magnificent record at the Wankhede. In his last 10 matches on this ground, he has struck 471 runs at an average of 58.88 and a strike rate of 162.98. The orange cap holder will be a popular captaincy favourite.
Sanju Samson :
Sanju Samson seems to be batting really well and he has got some solid starts. He has been dismissed for a single-digit score only once in the tournament and has managed to score 244 runs in 9 matches at an average of 30.50. RR’s skipper has scored only a single half-century in the tournament. The RR skipper smashed 38(19) against KKR earlier this season, overall he has scored 286 runs against KKR at an average of just 23.83, one of the best pick in wicket keeper section.
Sam Billings:
Sam Billings will open the innings and can fetch a lot of points for your fantasy team. He is a good player and can score big especially in the first six overs. He has played 6 matches this season, scoring 99 runs in six matches with an average of 20. He is the best differential punt pick for this match. Didn't play last game.
Batter :
Devdutt Padikkal :
Devdutt Padikkal is quality opening batter who can able to scored big & batted easily 10 -15 overs. He has scored 214 runs at an average of 23.77 and a strike rate of 125.88. He has not managed to find his form as witnessed in the previous seasons which can be his main motivation to bounce back with a stronger form in this contest. Punt pick.
Shreyas Iyer :
Shreyas Iyer is batting well and is the leading run-getter for KKR in this tournament. The KKR skipper has smashed 290 runs at an average of 36.25 and a strike-rate of 137.44. Played a responsible innings of 42 runs against Delhi in the last match. He is scoring consistent 30s. He has played a couple of good knocks as well. He was scored 85 runs against RR when these two sides played earlier this season. Iyer will look to lead his side from the front and will be an excellent captaincy pick as well.
Aaron Finch :
Aaron Finch has played only 3 matches for KKR and has scored a half-century. Finch smashed 58 off 28 balls against RR in this tournament in last meet. In the last game, he could make only 3 runs. He struggles against fast bowlers in inswing bowling. Risky pick.
Nitish Rana :
Nitish Rana has done well in the last few games for KKR. He has hit two half-centuries in the last four matches. He has played aggressively and is one of the key batters for the Knight Riders. Rana scored 57 at a strike rate of 167.65 in the last game against DC. which should keep him motivated for this fixture. He will be a great budget punt option.
Shimron Hetmyer
Shimron Hetmyer has been in top form with the bat he is the third-highest run-getter for the Royals. He has scored 233 runs in 9 matches and has hit 14 fours and 17 sixes so far. But in the last in matches, he could score only 6, 3 and 1. However, Hetmyer will be after a big performance here. Must have pick.
Venkatesh Iyer :
Venkatesh Iyer is a quality batting allrounder, But so far this season has been no less than a nightmare for them. So far this season, he has played 9 matches in which he has scored 132 runs and has been successful in hitting only one half century. Can bounce back strongly in this match, punt pick.
Rinku Singh :
Rinku Singh has played only two matches so far this season and has managed to make a mark in both the matches. Against GT in his first match, he made 35 runs off 28 deliveries and was the second-highest scorer for the team. In the last game, he scored 23 runs off just 16 deliveries. Comes down to bat in lower order. If Kolkata's top order gets out early, then there will be useful options for this match in that condition.
All-rounder :
Andre Russell :
Andre Russell is the best all-rounder in the T20 format. He will bowl one or two overs in the death and we all know what he can do with the bat. Russell has scored 227 runs while striking at 175.96 and has picked up 10 wickets with the ball too. Also, he has smashed scores of 54 (22) and 70* (31) in his last two matches at the Wankhede. He is the only player in this edition of the league who has scored over 200 runs and has picked 10 or more wickets. But he has been dismissed for a duck twice in the last 3 matches. However, he is the match winner. No dough he's best captain choice for this match.
Sunil Narine :
Sunil Narine T20 specialist player, he has been superb with the ball. The mystery spinner has picked 7 wickets in 9 matches for KKR at an average of 27.28 but has not been able to preformed well with the bat. He has managed to reach a double-digit score only once. Can be decent yet consistent with his contributions as he was able to find 1 wicket in the last match with an economy rate of 4.75. Sunil Narine took 2/21 in a high-scoring match vs RR in last meet. Must have pick.
Ravichandran Ashwin :

Riyan parag is occasionally utility plyer, he has scored only 3 runs against Mumbai in the last match. At the same time, in the previous match, he played a match winning innings of 56 runs against Bangalore. In this season he has played 9 matches, in which he has scored 107 runs with an average of 18 and has also taken 1 wicket from bowling. Hit or miss type plyer.
Daryl Mitchell :
Daryl Mitchell is a talented allrounder, able to contribute with both bat & ball. He has played only two matches so far in this season in which he has scored 33 runs and also bowled one over in both the matches but could not get any wicket and his strike rate in batting has been very low according to T20. Excellent punt pick for this match. (if plays).
Bowlers :
Yuzvendra Chahal :
Yuzvendra Chahal is bowling beautifully, he has been one of the best performers this season for the Royals and has maintained his domination right through the first game. Chahal took a memorable hat-trick against KKR earlier this season (5/40), After this, having taken only 2 wickets in the next three matches, he will be expected to make a great comeback in this match. Overall he's picked up 19 wickets in 9 matches and has an economy rate of 7.22. He is the current Purple Cap holder ,can picks wickets in bulk today's match, will be a bests captain choice from bowling department.
Umesh Yadav :
Umesh Yadav has been in top form with the ball and bowled with consistency in this season. He is the leading wicket-taker for KKR with 14 wickets in 9 matches at an average of 18.71. Wankhede Stadium has been very lucky for him, he has played three matches on this ground in which he has taken 9 wickets. Another top pick from bowling section.
Trent Boult :
Trent Boult is a T20 specialist bowler, he's is a one of the best bowler in power play and as well as death overs. In this season he has played eight matches in which he has taken 8 wickets. In the last match against Mumbai, he took 1 wicket while bowling economical. In the previous three matches, he could not take any wicket. Hoping for a good performance in this match. Best c/vc option for grand league.
Tim Southee :
Tim Southee bowled very wel in this season so far, Unfortunately, he did not succeed in taking any wicket in the last match.
Befor that he's took 3 wickets giving only 24 runs in his spell against
Gujarat. He has picked up 8 wickets from 4 matches an economy of 6.80, he is an excellent bet for wickets. Tim Southee is a player who is hardly wicketless in a match and scores fantasy points always thus he is a safe pick.
Prasidh Krishna :
Prasidh Krishna is looking in the amazing form, he's best pacer from RR. He has been lethal with the new ball and equally effective at the death. He has picked up 11 wickets in 9 matches so far and has started to come really good. Took 4 wickets in the last match at this ground, Similar performance will be expected in today's match as well. Must have pick.

Overall he has picked up 7 wickets in 4 matches at an economy of 9.10. Sen is bowling the important overs for RR. He is the best differential pick in this game.
Shivam Mavi :
Mavi has bowled well in the last three games taken one wicket each in the last three matches. He bowls in the middle-overs and one over in the death Overs. He picked one wicket in the last game and is looking good as well. He has solid recored against RR, He has taken 12 wickets in seven matches against the Royals at an average of 16.08 and economy rate of 7.10. Good budget pick.
