Lahore Qalandars (LAH) will clash against in-form Islamabad United (ISL) in the 16th match of the Pakistan Super League 2023 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Monday. The Qalandars recorded a thrilling win against Peshawar Zalmi in their last game and jumped to the third position with three wins from their opening four games.
Fakhar Zaman smashed 96 off 45 and quick fifties from Abdullah Shafique and Sam Billings helped the Qalanadars post 241 runs while batting first and then captain Shaheen Afridi pulled of a sensatinal fifer to restrict Zakmi on 201 runs.
Islamabad United registered a giant 63-run win against Quetta Gladiators in their last match and boosted to the second position in the table. The young wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan smashed 97 off just 42 to help the United score 220 runs and then Hasan Ali and Fazalhaq Farooqi took three wickets each to bowl out the Gladiators on just 157 runs.
