Melbourne Renegades will face Perth Scorchers in the fourth match of the Big Bash League 2023-24 on Sunday (December 10) at the Simonds Stadium in Geelong. Renegades will be playing their second game of the season, while this will be Scorchers’ first match.

Renegades faced Sydney Sixers in their opening game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Steven Smith opened the innings for the Sixers and played a fine knock of 61 runs off 42 deliveries. Moises Henriques also made a significant contribution of 40 runs off 32 deliveries. Sixers posted a total of 175 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Adam Zampa and Will Sutherland took two wickets each. Renegades lost their first three wickets for just 39 runs in the Powerplay.
