Pitch Report :
The pitch was surprisingly slow in the first match. It was difficult for the batsmen to get into their groove but that could change as the surface settles a bit and the players adjust to the pace. Still, indications are that the surface is one where scores around 150-160 will be far more common than 180-190.

Preview :
The Multan Sultans got off to a winning start in PSL 2022 as they crushed the Karachi Kings without any difficulty. They will now play their second match of PSL 7 against the Lahore Qalandars.
The Lahore Qalandars, though, is a very strong bowling team and easily one of the most dangerous teams to come up against in the Pakistan Super League.
Let us see who these two teams match up against each other.
MULTAN SULTANS
The Multan Sultans are the defending champions of the PSL and they started with a convincing win over the Karachi Kings. Mohammad Rizwan seems to have picked up from where he left off and scored yet another fifty! It is hard to argue against him being the best T20 batsman in Pakistan right now.
Shan Masood, Sohaib Maqsoood, Tim David, and Rilee Rossow give the Multan Sultans one of the strongest batting lineups in PSL 2022. They hit five sixes in the previous match (quite a lot for a short chase) and could be a great pick to score the Most Sixes in this next match as well.
Imran Tahir was the bowler that made life difficult for everyone in the previous match as he took three wickets and gave away just 16 runs in his four overs. The Multan Sultans would still be expecting a lot more from Imran Khan, Shahnawz Dahani, and David Willey.
The Multan Sultans have put together a deep and powerful batting lineup for this edition of the PSL. We have seen in the past editions how strong batting teams tend to be far and few in the PSL so that could be a big advantage to have.
LAHORE QALANDARS
The Lahore Qalandars started their season very strong in the previous PSL but then completely lost their way at the end and finished fifth. The only team to have not won a PSL title so far, the Lahore Qalandars have picked Shaheen Afridi to captain them in PSL 7.
From a betting point of view, we would avoid placing a big bet on the Lahore Qalandars until we have seen them play. They are a form team and filled with match-winners. However, all of their match-winners seem to be bowlers.
Shaheen Afridi, Rashid Khan, and Haris Rauf can run through any batting lineup on its day but if the bowlers are having a bad day, the Lahore Qalandars could suffer. As deep as the bowling lineup is, the batting is a bit thin.
Ben Dunk and Fakhar Zaman appear to be the two batsmen that are going to have to do the bulk of the scoring. Sohail Akhtar and Mohammad Hafeez have both regressed a bit over the last year or so and this means that the Lahore Qalandars could be in trouble if they end up losing a few early wickets.
Team Guide
Make various team combination with the help of these information.
M. Rizwan
Mohammad Rizwan made 52 runs off 47 balls in the first match against Karachi Kings. His innings helped his team chase down the target of 125 runs in 18.2 overs. Rizwan won the player of the match award for this performance.
Sohaib Maqsood
Sohaib Maqsood played brilliantly in the last match. He smashed 30 runs. His experience and skill makes him a top pick for this match.
Shan Masood
Shan Masood scored 26 runs from just 18 deliveries in the last match. He can turn out to be among the top points contributors in this game.
Fakhar Zaman
Fakhar Zaman ended up as the leading run-scorer for Lahore Qalandars in the last edition with 287 runs in 10 matches. He will be the key for his side at the top of the order.
Tim David
Tim David is a good franchise cricketer. He has featured in many leagues across the World in the past one year. He remained unbeaten on 12* runs in the last game against Karachi Kings.
Mohammad Hafeez
The Veteran cricketer had a good tournament last year where he ended up scoring 271 runs in 10 matches at an average of 33.87 and also picked up 2 wickets.
David Willey
David Willey is a fantastic all-rounder who can contribute with the bat and the ball for his team. He will be a key addition to fantasy teams.
Samit Patel
Samit Patel will also be a top captaincy pick in this match. He has the ability to play good knock with the bat and can chip in well with the ball as well. He also possesses a very safe pair of hands on the field, and can fetch you good points in this match.
Imran Tahir
Imran Tahir took 3 wickets in the last game with the impressive figures of 3/16. Multans will look at him to deliver again in this game and be a factor out here.
Haris Rauf
Haris Rauf is a key bowler for his team. He will probably bowl with the new ball and on his day can give you 2-3 wickets upfront.
Shahnawaz Dahani
Shahnawaz Dahani took 1 wickets in the last game with the impressive figures of 1/14. He is a skillful player and falls rightly under the budget category.
Shaheen Afridi
Shaheen Afridi has been appointed the captain of the Lahore Qalandars for this edition of the Pakistan Cricket League and he would be making his captaincy debut in this game. Afridi has taken 50 wickets in 37 matches at an average of 21.20, an economy of 7.65, and a strike rate of 16.6.
Rashid khan
Rashid Khan made his debut for Lahore Qalandars last year and picked 11 wickets in eight matches at an average of 15.90, an economy of 5.46, and a strike rate of 17.4.
