Preview :
Mumbai India started off their 2022 IPL campaign with a loss but they will not be fussed just yet. After all, they have known to be slow-starters and are still in familiar territory. Having said that, they will want to get off the mark as soon as possible and will be looking to exploit any opportunity that comes their way.
Up next in the tournament, Mumbai Indians will be up against Rajasthan Royals, who are their arch-rivals. The two sides have more often than not produced fine nail-biting encounters and we don't expect anything different this time. Mumbai Indians have a fine history and a strong leadership group, Rajasthan Royals have the momentum and a lineup that oozes class. The clash between the two sides is expected to be nothing less than a mouth-watering clash.
Mumbai Indians going into the upcoming match will be the return of Suryakumar Yadav, who - in recent years, has been their most dependable batsman. His return would immediately plug the most prominent gap that Mumbai Indians were exposed of in the first match.
Against the Capitals, Mumbai Indians got off to a good start, but could not capitalize on the momentum set by Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. With two youngsters in Anmolpreet Singh and Tilak Verma, Mumbai's batting unit looked a little fragile in the middle. They did get end their innings with a flourish and reached a commanding total of 177, it was probably a good dozen runs short of where they should have been after the start they got. With Yadav coming in, their batting would look good with firepower available right through the order.
It has been the bowling that has, for so long, led the torch. The likes of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah bowling in tandem used to trouble even the best but with Boult not available, Mumbai Indians found it a bit tough in the previous match - both in the beginning and at the death. The fact that Jasprit Bumrah was way off didn't help Mumbai's cause either.
Rajasthan Royals looked a tad behind in the second day of the auction, but it was exactly the opposite when they took the field. There were a few surprising picks in the auction, but their auction strategy looked brilliant after they exhibited their approach and strategy in their opening game - against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
These are still early days but Rajasthan Royals will be relishing the top-of-the-table position that they currently occupy. Not only did they win their opening match, but they also did so clinically. Almost everything, right from the beginning to the very end, seemed to be falling the Royals' way. Perhaps the only thing that didn't work out well for them was Nathan Coulter Nile going for plenty in his three overs.

Pacer Prasidh Krishna bowled beautifully against SRH to grab 2 crucial wickets. Expect very good bowling in the last match that we will bowl the same in this match as well. He has taken 32 wickets in his IPL career in 35 matches.
