Bangladesh and Pakistan will play the last game of the New Zealand T20I Tri-Series before the final on October 13 at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Pakistan have won two out of the three matches so far in the series and will be expecting to win this game as well.

Bangladesh are already out of the running for a place in the final, having lost all of their games so far. Despite the likes of Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin having impressed in recent games, Bangladesh have not clicked as a unit. Bangladesh, on the other hand, have failed to win a single game in the series and have one more opportunity to deliver their best performance before the start of the T20 World Cup. They have managed to win only four T20Is this year and two of these wins came against the United Arab Emirates last month. They will now play two warm-up matches against Afghanistan and South Africa before beginning their T20 World Cup campaign.
