Pitch Report :
Pune will be an excellent venue for the batters but the bowlers will get good assistance as well. The pacers will get swing and seam with the new ball while there will be help for the spinners as well. Batters will love playing on this pitch. Chasing sides have struggled here as they’ve won only 3 out of 9 matches. Teams will look to chase but won’t mind batting first either.
The average first innings score here is 170 runs.

Preview :
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be squaring off against Chennai Super Kings for the second time in the forty-ninth match of this season of the Tata IPL.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have now lost their previous three matches in a row and have slipped out of the IPL 2022 playoff places. There is still time for them to recover and they will be hoping to pick up a win against the inconsistent Chennai Super Kings.
CSK is now back under the leadership of MS Dhoni and it was almost as if a switch had been turned on. They got past SRH with ease and picked up their third win of the season. CSK, though, has yet to win two matches in succession this season.
RCB has three losses in its previous three matches but it is still in fifth place in the IPL 2022 standings. There were a couple of positives to take away from its loss to the Gujarat Titans in the previous match, primarily the fact that Virat Kohli scored a fifty.
However, the fact of the matter is that Virat Kohli's 58 off 53 deliveries probably played a major role in RCB's eventual loss. Will that time spent in the middle allow him to play with freedom? We are not sure and would advise betting on him at this time.
Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and even Mahipal Lomror played quite well. Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik have been both scoring runs and that gives RCB a pretty strong batting lineup. They just need one of their big players to stand up and play a big inning.
We like how Maxwell has been playing and would bet on him to score runs.
RCB's bowling lineup had a poor outing against the Gujarat Titans. It is still one of the better bowling lineups in IPL 2022, though. Josh Hazelwood, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Harshal Patel lead the lineup with support from Maxwell, Siraj, and Shahbaz.
CSK was back under MS Dhoni's leadership in the previous match and things seem to fall back into place all of a sudden. The big positive was the batting of Ruturaj Gaikwad. After having a terrible season, he found his best form and struck 99 from just 57 deliveries.
His opening partnership with Devon Conway was worth 182 runs and so it is safe to assume that these two players are going to be opening once more.
Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayadu, Dwaine Pretorius, and MS Dhoni will form a strong middle order with Jadeja and Santner to add depth. This batting lineup needs Shivam Dube for the power boost and he may come in if he is fully fit.
The bowling lineup for CSK has been a big problem this season. They have struggled for any kind of control at the death and their spinners have not been great either. Now, however, the pitches are starting to get a bit slower and offer some more help.
We think this is the time when MS Dhoni will be able to extract the most out of his bowling lineup. Jadeja, Theekshana, and Santner will be more effective in keeping runs down while someone like Pretorius will be able to use his change of pace as well.

Dinesh Karthik has done a fantastic job with the bat for his team, smashed 218 runs in 10 matches at a strike-rate of 194.64. Karthik has struck four 20+ scores in his past five innings vs CSK. He can make a healthy impact once again in this match.

He was dismissed for a duck in the last game and would be looking to make a comeback against his former franchise. will be a top captaincy or vice-captaincy option.

Virat Kohli has struggled with the bat for most of the season but scored his first half century of the season in the last game against GT. He's looked more focused in his last match which earned him 58 runs It was a much-needed knock. Overall he has scored 186 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 116.25. All eyes will be on Kohli once again, must have pick.

Robin Uthappa did not get a chance in the last match to showcase his batting talents. He's smashed 88 off 50 balls against RCB earlier this season. Overall he has scored 228 runs at an average of 29, including two half century. He is the second most successful Batter at this Vanue with 543 in 20 innings at an average of 28.58 and strike rate of 123.97. Good pick.

Ambati Rayudu is in solid touch with the bat & played couple of magnificent knocks so far. His last three scores are 78,40 & 46. Overall he has scored 246 runs in 7 innings at an average of 35.14 and a strike rate of 129.47. Ambati Rayudu is the 2nd highest run-getter for CSK & got 1 half-century this season, so his scoring spree looks set to continue. Must have for GL as a captain if CSK's top order collapse early.
Rajat Patidar :
Rajat Patidar is a young talented Batter who played a brilliant innings of 52 runs in just 32 balls against Gujarat in the last match and shared a 99-run partnership with Virat Kohli. In the previous match, he had scored only 16 runs against Rajasthan. Good performance will be expected in this match, there will be very good options for the grand league.

So far this season he has played eight matches without taking any wicket and has scored 247 runs in batting with an average of 35. But still he is the leading run-scorer from his side. Can play another big inning in today's game if plays. (didn't play in last).
All-rounder :
Glenn Maxwell :
Glenn Maxwell is star all-rounder and has the potential to win games single-handedly. Played an aggressive innings of 33 runs in 18 balls against Gujarat in the last match and also did economical bowling but could not take any wicket. He has scored 157 runs at a strike-rate of 178.40 and has taken one wicket at an economy of 7.55. He has crossed double figures five times in his past six innings, but has gone past 30 just twice. can contribute with the bat as well as with the ball. He will be a reliable captaincy pick.
Ravindra Jadeja :
The season has been full of ups and downs for Ravindra Jadeja. Not able to perform well with both bat and ball. He has got only 113 runs and has picked up five wickets. But he is a quality player and can be expected to fire.
Jadeja has a fabulous record especially against RCB. He has taken 26 wickets in 29 games in the IPL. Hence, he should be there in your fantasy team.

Dwaine Pretorius :
Dwaine Pretorius is a talented allrounder, having picked up 4 wickets at an economy of 9.10 while with scored 31 runs as well in 5 matches. Picked up only 1 wickets in the last match against SRH. Howeve, he is the good plyer shown in first two matches, can give some good fantacy points today.
Mitchell Santner:
Mitchell Santner has played only four matches in the season so far in which he has not been able to perform very well. Has taken only 3 wickets in bowling and scored only 20 runs in batting. However, he's able to contribute with both bat & ball, will be a differential pick for today.

He is the 2nd wicket taker of bowlers with the most wickets for CSK this season. Best c/vc option for grand league.
