This is going to be the first match for both teams, and both of them would like to win this match and gain early momentum in the tournament.
Salem Spartans had played against Dindigul Dragons in their last encounter, where Salem Spartans won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat did not go much in their favour as they lost two wickets already for the score of 24 runs. There were some decent partnerships, although no one achieved a huge individual score. They managed to reach a total of 124 runs at the expense of eight wickets. The Dragons had a horrible start, but a few partnerships kept them on track.
