Pitch Report :
The pitch at Qweens sport club is a traditionally batting-friendly surface where runs will come quickly. The chances of the wicket slowing down are more in the latter half. The team, winning the toss will choose to bat first. Meanwhile, the pacers have an advantage on this pitch in the initial Overs. The Spinners will surely have an advantage in the middle overs. Batsmen often need to show patience and adaptability to score runs on this wicket, as the ball may not come onto the bat as quickly as on some other surfaces. The pitch tends to offer assistance to spinners as the game progresses, with the potential for some turns and variable bounce and thus the toss-winning captain would look to bat first.
The average first innings score here is 235 runs.

The temperature is expected to hover around 28°C on the Monday with 32% humidity and 12 km/hr windspeed. There are no chances of rain during the game.

Preview :
The match no.3 of the 2023 ICC World Cup Qualifiers is all set to unveil on June 19 at Queen’s Sports Club where Sri Lanka would take on UAE. The game is expected to kick off at 12:30 PM IST.
Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne are likely to open the proceedings with the bat. Karunaratne was in excellent touch during the match against the USA, scoring 111 runs before retiring. He was supported well by Kusal Mendis, who scored a century of his own as the duo put up a 190-run partnership.
Sri Lanka has a strong middle order made up of the likes of Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka, and Dhananjaya de Silva. All-rounders Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga add depth to the batting.
Matheesha Pathirana will lead the pace attack for Sri Lanka here. He had an excellent outing in the recently concluded IPL. He will be supported by Dushmantha Chameera and Kasun Rajitha.
Maheesh Theekshana will take care of the spin duties along with Hasaranga and de Silva.
The batsmen will once again hold the key for the UAE here. Skipper Muhammad Waseem, Vriitya Aravind, and Asif Khan have been in good form during the lead-up to this tournament and will once again play an important role here.
The team management has let go of some experienced campaigners including Chirag Suri, CP Rizwan, and Kashif Daud, and instead has decided to bring in some fresh talent in the form of Sanchit Sharma, Ali Naseer, Aaryansh Sharma, and Eathan D’Souza. Ali Naseer has been a particularly impressive find, thanks to his all-round abilities and he will join the likes of Rohan Mustafa and Basil Hameed in the middle order.
Zahoor Khan and Junaid Siddiqui are the two experienced seamers on the squad. They will be joined by Sanchit Sharma and Muhammad Jawadullah. Karthik Meiyappan will take up the spin duties and will be assisted by all-rounders including Aayan Afzal Khan.

Kusal Mendis :
Kusal Mendis is the technically sound wicketkeeper-batter is looking in great touch and recently batted well in the ODI series against Afghanistan. He scored 132 runs in two warm-up matches. So, Kusal Mendis is the best fantacy captain pick for grand league.
Dimuth Karunaratne :
Dimuth Karunaratne played two impressive knocks of 111 and 47 in the World Cup Qualifier warm ups. Also, in the series against Afghanistan before that, he had two half-centuries to his name in the three-match series. Must have pick.
Pathum Nissanka :
Pathum Nissanka scored 132 runs from three innings in Sri Lanka’s recent series against Afghanistan and so he would be one of the players to watch out for in the fixture.
Vriitya Aravind :
Vriitya Aravind has scored more than 30 runs in each match of the West Indies series including a knock of 70 runs. Also, he amassed 54 runs against West Indies in the World Cup Qualifier warm ups held recently. Further, he averages 33.39. Which make him must have pick from UAE side.
Wanindu Hasaranga :
Wanindu Hasaranga is one of the quality leg-spinners around the world and his form in the recent series against Afghanistan was also superb scalping six wickets in two matches. Also in the previous match against the USA, he picked two wickets. Also, the UAE batters don’t have much experience in tackling quality spinners across the world and so he is likely to be the top bowler for Sri Lanka. In 41 ODIs, he has picked up 45 wickets at an economy of 5.06 and scored 741 runs at an average of 23.9. Default c/vc pick.
Waseem Muhammad :

Kasun Rajitha :
Kasun Rajitha representing Sri Lanka, has showcased his bowling prowess with 17 wickets in 9 matches. With an economy rate of 5.82 and a strike rate of 28.05, Rajitha has been effective in both containing the runs and picking up crucial wickets. His disciplined bowling and ability to generate breakthroughs make him a valuable pick.
Dushmantha Chameera :
