Preview :

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the fourth game of the IPL 2023 on Sunday (April 2) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Sunrisers bid adieu to a lot of players after finishing in the 8th place in the points table last season. The released players consisted of some big names, including the former skipper Kane Williamson. SRH made a total of 13 signings during the mini-auction last year. They picked Aiden Markram as the captain after his successful stint with the sister franchise, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, in SA20. Sunrisers will miss their Proteas contingent, including the skipper, for this game as they are busy playing against the Netherlands in the ODI series, on which their qualification to the ODI World Cup of this year depends.

Rajasthan Royals finished as the runner-up last season and delivered an excellent performance with both the bat and ball. Jos Buttler went on to clinch the orange cap, while Yuzvendra Chahal won the purple cap. The Royals have not made significant changes to the squad and only filled the gaps from last season. They picked Jason Holder at the mini-auction and had to shell out INR 5.75 crores for him. Holder can play the role of finisher and bowl at any point of the game. Apart from his inclusion, the playing 11 might remain the same as we saw for the maximum part of the tournament last year.
