After a stellar victory against Fortune Barishal in the previous match, the Sylhet Strikers will be eyeing to seal another win, when they take on the Rangpur Riders on January 27, at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. They have played some phenomenal cricket so far and are currently at the helm of the table, while the Riders have been inconsistent and are hanging in the middle.

In the previous match, the Nurul Hasan-led side, however, played some brilliant cricket and defeated Chattogram Challengers by 55 runs. Shoaib Malik wreaked havoc with the bat, scoring 75* off 45 deliveries. Azmatullah Omarzai on the other hand, hit 42 runs off 24 deliveries and courtesy of their innings, the Riders posted 179 runs on the board after 20 overs.
