Preview :
The United Arab Emirates will host Bangladesh once again at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for the second and the last T20I match of the ongoing series on Tuesday (September 27). UAE gave their all in the first game but fell short of the target by a mere margin of 7 runs while chasing a target of 159 runs. Opener Chirag Suri was the pick of the batters as he scored 39 runs off just 24 deliveries and Aayan Afzal Khan made 25 off 17. Apart from them, no other batter could manage to score more than 20 runs for UAE.
Bangladesh will be hoping for a better performance from the top order as they lost the first three wickets inside the powerplay overs and could manage to score only 42 runs in the first six overs. This was an issue that Bangladesh faced during the Asia Cup as well and they need to find a solution as soon as they can. Apart from Nurul Hasan and Afif Hossain, no other batter could make a significant impact in this game. Bangladeshi bowlers did a great job during the second half of the chase. However, giving away plenty of runs in the powerplay and not picking some early wickets were some of the concerns that the bowling unit needs to address.
