Scotland and Zimbabwe will play the last group stage game of the qualifiers of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Friday (October 21) at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Both teams have had a similar journey in the tournament. Scotland defeated the West Indies in their first game by 42 runs after posting a total of 160 runs on the board. After such a successful start, Scotland lost their way in the second game against Ireland. They lost that match despite posting a total of 176 runs.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, defeated Ireland by 31 runs in their first game as they made 174 runs for the loss of seven wickets. It was a complete all-round performance by the Zimbabwe team. In their second game against West Indies, Zimbabwe failed to chase a target of 154 runs and were bundled out for 122 runs, thereby, losing the game by 31 runs.
