Zimbabwe are set to once again host Afghanistan in the 2nd ODI of the ODI series between the two teams, at the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe. The tourists, Afghanistan have gone one up in the series after their win in the previous match of the series. Zimbabwe gave up too many runs in the previous match and never really got going in the chase. A slow start to the chase pushed the required run-rate way beyond 6 and forced Zimbabwe to attack the Afghani spinners. That was something that was never going to work out well and Zimbabwe ended up losing too many wickets in the middle overs. Zimbabwe's batting has been a problem in the last few years and there does not seem to be a solution just yet. Craig Ervine, Wesley Madhevere, and Sikandar Raza are the best batters in this lineup.
