Preview :

The third and final T20I between hosts Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will be played at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday, June 14. The match will start at 4:30 PM IST.

Having already won the first two T20Is of the series, the upcoming match on Tuesday is a dead rubber for the visiting side. For Zimbabwe, however, they will want to salvage something positive out of what has been a rather bleak home series.

Afghanistan have been impressive in the ongoing series. The team kicked off their Zimbabwe tour by first beating the host 3-0 in the three-match ODI series and picked up from where they had left off in the shorter format.

The first T20I saw Afghanistan putting up a collective effort where the likes of Nijat Masood, Hazratullah Zazai and Najibullah Zadran guided their team to a six-wicket win. The second match was all about the batting brilliance of Zadran. Riding on his quickfire half-century, the Afghans won the match by 21 runs.

For Tuesday’s game, Afghanistan will be expected to maintain their aggressive approach and will be favourites to come out on top once again.
