 South Africa 55, India all out at 153; Team India still ahead by 36 runs

23 wickets fell on the first day of the second Test being played between India and South Africa. The fast bowlers of both the teams took all the wickets. South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town, but the team was all out for 55 runs. Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets from India.

Team India also could not do anything special in its first innings and was limited to 153 runs. However, the team got a lead of 98 runs. Virat Kohli scored 46 runs, while 7 batsmen could not even open the account. 3 bowlers of South Africa took 3-3 wickets.

India started its first innings in the second session. The team lost 4 wickets in scoring 111 runs. After the fall of the first wicket, captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill took the team to 72 runs.
