Abhishek Sharma makes a big leap: Reaches second spot in T20 batting rankings

Indian opener Abhishek Sharma has reached no-2 in ICC's T20 rankings. After a better performance against England, he jumped 829 rating points. Travis Head was at the top and Tilak Verma was at number three. He has lost one point.

Varun has 705 rating points, while England's Rashid Khan is second with 705 points and West Indies' Akil Hussain (707 points) is at first place. There is no change in the top-10 of the T20 all-rounders rankings.
Abhishek came in top 2 due to better performance against England
Abhishek scored 135 runs in the 5th T20 match against England. He hit 7 fours and 13 sixes. Abhishek completed his century in just 37 balls. He was selected Player of the Match.
Varun Chakravarthy was the Player of the Series
Varun, who was the Player of the Series by taking 14 wickets against England, has gained 3 places in the bowlers ranking. Now he has moved from the sixth position to the third position. Due to his excellent performance in the T20 series, he has also been selected for the ODI series starting from February 6.
