<p>Bumrah took 32 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy that ended in early January 2025. He was also selected as the Player of the Tournament. Bumrah returned from a back injury at the end of 2023. He took 71 wickets in 13 Tests in 2024.</p>
