BAN v NET 2025: Netherlands Tour of BAN For 3 T20Is, Starting From August 30
Updated - 5-AUG-2025 5:35 IST

The Netherlands men's cricket team will play Bangladesh in a three-match T20 International series in Dhaka from August 30 to September 3, 2025, before the Asia Cup 2025, which will start from September 9 in the UAE.
If it conforms, this will be Bangladesh's first-ever bilateral Twenty20 International series against the Netherlands. The matches were part of a global event rather than a bilateral trip, even though the sides met during the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Historical Head-to-Head
In the five Twenty20 Internationals that Bangladesh and the Netherlands have played, Bangladesh has won four and the Netherlands has won one.
Their most recent meeting took place at the 2024 T20 World Cup, where Bangladesh defeated the Dutch by 25 runs at the Arnos Vale Stadium. Shakib Al Hasan led the team with a tough 64* and contributed with the ball, while Litton Das commanded it.

Series Important
- Even though it's not a very important series, Bangladesh has an excellent chance to improve their T20 combinations in preparation for the Asia Cup later in September.
- In order to help players like Rishad, Jaker Ali, and Hridoy confirm their T20 skills, the series may see some rotation and exposure for up-and-coming players.
- Confidence would be boosted by a clean sweep of an affiliate team, especially after mixed performances against Pakistan and Sri Lanka and on recent visits in the United Arab Emirates.
