The Indian team will not go to Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy to be held in February 2025. BCCI will ask ICC to organize India's matches in Dubai instead of Pakistan. India did not go to play in the Asia Cup series held in Pakistan last year. India's matches were then held in Sri Lanka.

PCB had sent a proposal to hold all India's matches in Lahore

The Champions Trophy 2025 will be played from February 19 to March 9 next year, in which March 10 will be the reserve day for the final. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the draft of 15 matches of the tournament to ICC. ICC will approve this schedule only after getting consent from the boards of the 8 teams participating in the tournament.

Pakistan may face its biggest rival India in Lahore on March 1. However, BCCI has not yet given its consent for this match. A senior member of the ICC board gave this information to PTI on Wednesday.

For the first time since 1996, Pakistan will host a major ICC tournament. However, PCB hosted the entire Asia Cup in 2008 and some matches of Asia Cup were also held in Pakistan last year.

According to the report, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi has sent a schedule of 15 matches to ICC for Champions Trophy 2025. In which all the matches of India have been kept in Lahore due to security reasons.
