Bollywood Singer- Rock Show Will Be Held Before The India-Pak Match

Shankar Mahadev, Arijit Singh, and Sukhwinder Singh will perform before the toss at Narendra Modi Stadium.

There will be a musical event before the World Cup match between India and Pakistan. This was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) late on Thursday night through social media X. The World Cup match between India and Pakistan is to be played on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both the teams have reached Ahmedabad.

Bollywood singers Shankar Mahadevan, Arijit Singh and Sukhwinder Singh will perform 1 hour before the toss from 12.30 pm. The toss of the match between India and Pakistan will take place at its scheduled time, 1.30 pm. The match will start at 2 pm.

 

The opening ceremony of the World Cup did not take place

Earlier, the opening match ceremony was not held in the debut match played between England and New Zealand on October 5 in Ahmedabad. According to media reports, the opening ceremony was to be held on October 4 on the occasion of Captain's Day Ceremony. According to reports, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, singer Arijit Singh, actress Tamannaah Bhatia, singer Shreya Ghoshal and legendary singer Asha Bhosle were to perform at the opening ceremony. Apart from this, there were also to be fireworks and laser show.

 

Ahmedabad declared no drone zone during India-Pak match

The match between India and Pakistan is to be played during the World Cup on 14 October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Keeping in view the security, Gujarat Police has declared Ahmedabad city as no drone on 14 October. On Wednesday, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner issued an order declaring Ahmedabad as no drone zone on October 14. Under this, there will be a ban on operation of drones, quadcopters, powered aircraft, microlight aircraft, hang gliders, paragliders, paramotors, hot air balloons and parachuting.
