The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is starting from 31 March. The final match will be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 10 teams will fight to win the IPL title for 59 days.

Bowlers who tore through opposition batting line-ups with the most wickets in tournament history and won matches for their teams. These include India's Amit Mishra, Yuzvendra Chahal to West Indies' Dwayne Bravo and Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga.
Amit Mishra

Yuzvendra Chahal
Ability to take wickets on flat tracks Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is a daring bowler and has the ability to take wickets even on flat tracks. Most of the matches of his IPL career were played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where only batters get help. He took 51 wickets in 40 matches played at this ground with an economy of just 7.74. He took 139 wickets in 166 IPL career for RCB only. Talking about overall IPL career, he takes a wicket in every 17th ball.
Piyush Chawla
Made an impact in the initial season The 34-year-old Piyush Chawla, who started his IPL career with the Punjab team in 2008, has 157 wickets in the tournament. This time a part of the Mumbai team, Piyush took 11 plus wickets in every season till 2016. But since 2017, his wicket-taking ability has decreased and he has been able to take only 17 wickets in 21 matches of the last 4 seasons. This time too he will be seen playing from Mumbai.
Ravichandran Ashwin
Expert in variation, clever bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, who started his IPL career with Chennai Super Kings, has 157 wickets in the tournament. Ashwin is famous for many variations in his off-spin bowling. Along with off-spin, he can also bowl with clever variations of action including top spin, carrom ball, arm ball and leg spin. Ashwin, who has played from Delhi, Punjab and Pune, is with the Rajasthan team this time.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
11 maiden overs in the name of Swing King Bhuvi Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Team India's prime bowler for a long time, is known for swinging the new ball in both directions. Bhuvi has bowled 11 maiden overs in his IPL career, the most after Praveen Kumar (14). In a career of 146 matches, Bhuvi also bowled the maximum 1406 dot balls and gave runs with an economy of just 7.30.
Sunil Narine

Jasprit Bumrah

Due to injury, he will not play this season. But in IPL, Bumrah has won matches for his team many times by bowling economical yorkers and death overs. He also has 8 maiden overs in the tournament. Bowling at an economy rate of 7.39 in the tournament, he takes a wicket for every 19 runs.
