G11-Fantasy Cricket Prediction for Today's Match

After having back surgery, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green is making great progress toward the aim of returning to professional cricket in time for the June 2025 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lord's against South Africa. Green missed the whole home season after undergoing spinal surgery in October 2024 for a stress fracture.

Green Express His Feeling After Injury To Play Country Cricket

Green was pleased about his comeback and said “I planned to play for Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield finals. Prior to the WTC final, I'm also looking into prospects to play county cricket in England”. During this time, he would be able to adjust to English conditions and test his match fitness in red-ball cricket.

Australian Chairman Statement On Green

George Bailey, Australia's chairman of selectors, has expressed hope that Green will be available for the WTC final, largely as an additional batter. Bailey said, "Very hopeful that he'll be available as a batsman for the World Test Championship final."

Benefit Of His Part Of Country Cricket

The development of Green will be continually studied. His involvement in county cricket would help Australia prepare for the important match against South Africa by giving him exposure to English conditions and useful match practice.
