Zimbabwe's star players Richard Ngarava and Ben Curran will miss out on the upcoming Zimbabwe 2 test series against South Africa in Zimbabwe, starting on June 28, due to injury. Zimbabwe's cricket board has announced the 16 man squads for the South Africa home tour.
Victor Nyauchi will miss this tour due to tactical reasons, and Shikar Raza will miss due to commitments at the MLC.
What Happened To Them?
Richard Ngarava will miss the tour due to a lower back injury, and Ben Curran will miss due to a finger injury. Curram got injured while he was facing Rabada and got injured in the warm-up match against South Africa for the WTC 2025 Final.
Opportunities For Yungster
This injury will give opportunities to the youngest players like fast-bowler Kundai Matigimu (27), legspinner Vincent Masekesa. On the batting side, Prince Masvaure and Takudzwanashe Kaitano will manage the top order batting.
