Instead of Dhoni, the captaincy of Chennai can be handed over to Ben Stokes, Ravindra Jadeja or Rituraj Gaikwad. The team has keepers like Devon Conway and Ambati Rayudu, who can handle the responsibility behind the wicket.

Chennai CEO Kashi Vishwanathan was questioned by a sports website about Dhoni injury and his playing. Viswanathan said- As far as I know, our captain will play 100 percent. Apart from this, I am not aware of any other development.

Young pacer Chaudhary is already out of IPL

CSK young fast bowler Mukesh Chaudhary has already been ruled out of IPL due to injury. Mukesh has hurt his back. Mukesh too got injured a day before the match against Gujarat. India Under-19 player Akash Singh will replace him. Akash had done well in the 2020 Under 19 World Cup. He took 7 wickets in 6 matches.

Dhoni last IPL could be

This could be Dhoni last IPL. During a match last season, he was asked if he was going to retire. So Dhoni had said in response to this that whenever I retire, I will retire among my domestic fans.
