Wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik may retire from international cricket and IPL after IPL 2024. Karthik will play his last season in IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB had included him in the 2022 mini auction for Rs 5.5 crore.
According to ESPN, the Indian wicketkeeper batsman will turn 39 in June. He is ready for the last IPL season. After this he can retire from IPL and international cricket. Karthik played his last international match for India in the T20 World Cup in July 2022 against Bangladesh.
Karthik is among the seven players who have been a part of all the seasons of IPL.

After Karthik's brilliant performance in IPL 2022, he was included in the team for the T20 World Cup. In the year 2022, he scored 330 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 183.33. However, his last year was not very good. While playing for RCB, he scored 140 runs at an average of 11.
