Punjab batsman Anmolpreet Singh on Saturday scored a century in 35 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. Anmolpreet has become the fastest Indian batsman to score a century in List-A cricket.
Anmolpreet broke the record of former Indian batsman Yusuf Pathan, who scored a century in 40 balls for Baroda against Maharashtra in 2010. Anmolpreet played a quick innings of 115 runs with the help of 12 fours and 9 sixes in just 45 balls.
Third fastest century in List-A history
Anmolpreet's century in 35 balls is now the third fastest century in List-A history. He is only behind Australia's Jack Fraser McGurk (in 29 balls) and South African legend AB de Villiers (in 31 balls).

Due to Shreyas' innings, Mumbai scored 382 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs against Karnataka.
