Former cricketer Sairaj will be the spin coach RR

Former Indian spinner Sairaj Bahutule will once again join Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He will be the spin coach of the team. Bahutule used to train players at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) till now.

Bahutule worked as the spin consultant of the Indian team under the coaching of Rahul Dravid. He was the spin coach for the Royals from 2018 to 2021 IPL season. Bahutule made his debut for India in 1997 against Sri Lanka.

<h2>Will work with Rahul Dravid</h2>

In the Rajasthan team, Sairaj will be seen working with bowling coach New Zealand&#39;s Shane Bond. The head coach of the team is Rahul Dravid. Bahutule told Cricbuzz on Friday, &#39;Discussions are going on between the team and me. I am close to joining the franchise. There is still work to be done in some places. Excited to be back with the Royals. It has always been a pleasure working with Rahul.&#39;

Rahul had associated me with the Indian team during the last Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in 2023, when I worked as a spin-bowling coach. I was also part of his coaching staff in Sri Lanka.

52-year-old Bahutule, who has played 2 Tests and 5 ODIs for India, will coach the new bowlers joining the Royals throughout the year. The Royals bought England&#39;s Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Akash Madhwal and Fazalhaq Farooqui in the IPL-2025 mega auction.
