Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala: Records, Stats & Insights
Updated - 10-DEC-2025 6:40 IST

Located around 1,457 meters above sea level in the Himalayan foothills, the Dharamsala cricket stadium is considered one of the world's most exquisite cricket venues. The stadium opened in 2003 and has 23,000 seats.
In addition to hosting the state's men's and women's domestic teams and the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), it also occasionally hosts franchise cricket, such as the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dharamsala is a unique venue that plays very differently from flat plains due to its high altitude, fresh air, and beautiful background of the snow-capped Dhauladhar mountains.
