Hardik Pandya’s comeback is a significant boost for India. The star all-rounder is scheduled to return to his duties in a matter of days after a period of recovery and workload control. He is a three-dimensional asset because of his leadership characteristics, finishing prowess, and critical ball overs. With South Africa’s quick, bouncy conditions on offer, Hardik's seam bowling and power-hitting in the middle overs will be key.

His presence also offers balance to the XI, allowing India to select an extra specialist bowler or a power-hitter depending on the match situation. This series will also be a vital examination of Hardik’s form and conditioning ahead of future T20 assignments.

Shubman Gill Included — Fitness to Decide His Availability
