If Gill Did Not Recover From The Injury

As his physiotherapist came to treat him, he held the back of his neck. He left the field a short while later, making it impossible for him to bat during India's second innings. The spasm was confirmed when he went to the hospital. He was seen wearing a cervical collar one day after being released from the hospital.
Gill's role is still up in the doubt, therefore the next 48 hours will be important. As they select their lineups and hope to start the Guwahati Test strong, India will be looking for clarity.
