India defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the fourth match of the T20 series. With this win, the team has won the series with a 3-1 lead in the 5-match series. The fifth match of the series will be played on July 14.
India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 152 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, India achieved the target in 15.2 overs without losing any wicket.
There was an unbeaten partnership of 156 runs between the openers from India. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls and Shubman Gill scored 58 off 39 balls.
Earlier, captain Sikandar Raza scored the highest 46 runs for Zimbabwe. Apart from him, Tadivanashe Marumani contributed 32 runs and Wesley Madhware contributed 25 runs. Zimbabwe openers Tadivanashe Marumani (32) and Wesley Madhware (25) shared a 63-run partnership.
For India, Khaleel Ahmed took two wickets. Shivam Dubey, Abhishek Sharma, Tushar Deshpande and Washington Sundar got 1-1 wickets. Jonathan Campbell was run out by Ravi Bishnoi on a direct hit on his own ball.
