<p>India star cricketer Virat Kohli has written a letter for former South African great batsman AB de Villiers. Kohli wrote this letter after de Villiers was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. People have always been talking about your potential and it is right too. You are the most talented cricketer I have played with, you are definitely number one.&#39;</p>

<h2><strong>I liked your confidence in yourself the most</strong></h2>

<p>He further wrote, &#39;But what I liked the most was your confidence in your own ability. You had a lot of belief that you could do whatever you wanted on the cricket field, and you generally did that. That is what made you so special.</p>

<p>There is no better example in my mind than when we were batting together for RCB against KKR in Kolkata in 2016. We were chasing a target of 184 runs. KKR had bowlers like Sunil Narine, Morne Morkel, Andre Russell and Shakib Al Hasan. You came to bat with me when the score was 70 and Narine was bowling.</p>

<p>You played two dot balls and during the timeout told me that you were not selecting his balls properly. I told you to give me the strike and I would try to hit boundaries off his balls.</p>

<p>After the timeout, Narine came to bowl the over, I was ready at the non-striker end thinking you would definitely give me a single. But you did not do that and hit a 94 meter long six on Narine&#39;s ball.</p>

<p>This is one of those memorable moments when I was batting with you. This was the time when I enjoyed the most on the cricket field.&#39;</p>
