Ireland has achieved the first team victory in cricket history over New Zealand. Ireland defeated the Kiwi team by 41 runs under the DLS method.
Batting first in Bloemfontein, the team scored 267 runs for 9 wickets. In reply, New Zealand had scored 131 runs for 5 wickets in 32.1 overs, when rain came. Ken Hilton played an inning of 72 runs. He was the player of the match.
Pakistan and England also won
Pakistan and England won in other matches of the day. In Binani, the Pakistani team first scored 155 runs. After that, Bangladesh were all out for 150 runs. Ubaid Shah was the player of the match. He took 5 wickets.
On the other hand, in Bloemfontein, England scored 237 runs for 7 wickets and bowled out Zimbabwe for 91 runs. Taizim Chaudhary Ali took 7 wickets from the English team. He was the player of the match.
