India's World Cup jersey launched

Tricolor color applied on shoulders; Rohit-Kohli also seen in '3 Ka Dream' theme song
Team India's new jersey for the ODI World Cup has been launched. Kit sponsor Adidas has added the colors of the tricolor on the shoulder area of the jersey. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the jersey with the theme song '3 Ka Dream Hai Apna'.

The ODI World Cup will be played in India from October 5.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) also released the official song of the World Cup today i.e. Wednesday at 12 noon.

Gave the tricolor color on the shoulders
Adidas became India's jersey sponsor in June this year itself. Team India's ODI jersey released then had 3 white colored lines on the shoulders. Those lines have now been made in the color of the tricolor, that is, saffron at the top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom.

The color of the tricolor was visible on the shoulder area on the new World Cup jersey. The picture is of Ravindra Jadeja wearing the new jersey. He also appeared in the theme song.

Rohit, Kohli and Hardik were also seen in the theme song.
BCCI launched the theme song of 2 minutes 21 seconds at around 2 pm on Wednesday. The song was made on the theme of 'Impossible Nahi Hai Yeh Sapna, 3 Ka Dream Hai Apna'. Dream of 3 i.e. India's dream of winning the ODI World Cup for the third time was depicted with the help of song. Team India has won the ODI World Cup twice in 1983 and 2011.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj were seen in the song.

Virat Kohli was also seen in the theme song of the World Cup jersey launch.

Team India will wear new jersey in the warm-up match
The World Cup is starting from October 5, but Team India will take the field wearing a new jersey only in the warm-up matches. Team India will play its first warm-up match against England on 30 September. The team's warm-up match will be against Netherlands on October 3. In both these matches, Indian players will wear new jerseys.

Team India's first match in the World Cup will be against Australia on October 8. This match will be played at MM Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

World Cup will run from 5 October to 19 November
The ODI World Cup will start from October 5. The opening match will be between defending champion England and the previous runner-up New Zealand team at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. There will be 45 group stage matches till November 12. There will be two semi-finals on 15th and 16th of November, while the final will be played on 19th November in Ahmedabad.
