India will not host the Women's T20 World Cup as BCCI has rejected ICC's offer in which the International Cricket Council had proposed to hold the tournament in India due to political instability in Bangladesh.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in an interview given at the Times of India office in Mumbai on Thursday - 'We are hosting the Women's ODI World Cup next year. In such a situation, we do not want to indicate that we want to constantly organize the World Cup in our own home.'

Here Shah told that the new NCA in Bengaluru is now ready with new facilities. Its facilities will also be used by Olympians of other sports.

Proposal of Women's T20 World Cup in India also rejected

Jay Shah said that we have refused the Bangladesh Cricket Board's proposal to organize the Women's T20 World Cup to be held in October in India. The Women's T20 World Cup is to be played in Bangladesh from 3 October to 20 October.

There is political instability in Bangladesh right now. In such a situation, there are clouds of crisis over the Women's T20 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board had requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India to hold it in India to find an alternative.

There is political instability in Bangladesh and people in the country are protesting on the streets.

India has played four day-night Tests so far, all of which ended within three days

Shah said- 'Pink ball test has not got a place in the upcoming season. Pink ball tests end in 2 days in India. In such a situation, spectators and broadcasters suffer financial losses. As a fan, you buy tickets for a 5-day match and if the match ends in 2-3 days, then what will you do with the tickets of the remaining days? There will be no refund, so I look at it from a slightly emotional point of view.'

India has played four day-night Test matches so far. In which three matches were played on home ground and one match was played abroad. All the matches were finished in less than three days.
