India won the T-20 series 4-1: Beat Australia by 6 runs in the 5th match; Mukesh Kumar took 3 wickets
India defeated Australia by 6 runs in the thrilling 5th T20 match. Team India's Arshdeep Singh defended 10 runs in the last 6 balls in Bengaluru. He did not give any runs on the first 3 balls and also took the wicket of captain Matthew Wade. The Kangaroo team could score only 3 runs and lost the match. With the victory in the 5th T20, Team India won the series by a margin of 4-1.
Australia won the toss and chose bowling at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Batting first, Team India scored 160 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Australia could score only 154 runs for 8 wickets. Australia lost the T-20 match for the first time in Bengaluru, here the team has won 3 T-20s.
Ravi Bishnoi was the player of the series
Leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi took 2 wickets for 29 runs in the fifth T20. He led the team to success in every match of the series. He received the Player of the Series award for taking 9 wickets in 5 matches. In the high scoring series, he gave runs at an economy of just 8.20 and emerged as the new wrist spinner of Team India.
Akshar Patel was the player of the match
Mukesh Kumar took 3 wickets for India. While Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi got 2-2 wickets. Akshar Patel, who took one wicket for just 14 runs in 4 overs, was the player of the match. Akshar also scored 31 runs. Apart from him, Shreyas Iyer played an inning of 53 runs. Jitesh Sharma contributed 24 runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 21 runs.

He did not give any runs on the last 2 balls and ended his over by giving only 5 runs.
