Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav included in UP Ranji team

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav will be seen playing Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh from January 30. He has been included in UP's Ranji team. UPCA has announced the team for this match on Wednesday. This match will be played at Holkar Stadium in Indore.

30-year-old Kuldeep has undergone back surgery in Germany. He has been away from cricket for the last 3 months. Kuldeep played his last international match against New Zealand in Bengaluru. He did not go on India's tour of Australia due to surgery.

Kuldeep gave a recovery update in a post on January 27. He wrote- 'Recovery requires a team. I am grateful to NCA and his team for all the work done behind the scenes.'

Kohli and KL Rahul are also playing Ranji

Apart from Kuldeep, veteran batsman Virat Kohli will be seen playing Ranji match for Delhi, KL Rahul for Karnataka and Mohammad Siraj for Hyderabad. Earlier, Indian players like Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant took part in Ranji Trophy matches.

Kuldeep is in the Indian team for the Champions Trophy

Kuldeep Yadav has been included in the Indian team for the Champions Trophy starting on February 19. BCCI included him in the Indian team for this ICC tournament 11 days ago. He has been included in the team for the ODI series against England, although he is not a part of the T20 team.
