Indian team will play WTC Final 2025: Pakistan-England almost out of the race for the final

After Sri Lanka's Test win over England and Bangladesh's series win over Pakistan, the mathematics of the World Test Championship (WTC) has changed. Pakistan and England are now almost out of the race to reach the final. While it seems a little easier for India to reach the final.

India will now have to win at least 5 out of the remaining 10 Tests to reach the WTC final. The team will play 5 Tests at home and 5 in Australia. Team India can once again face Australia or New Zealand in the final, these teams had defeated India in the last 2 finals.
