England also lost early momentum, tumbling to 17/3 in the fourth over after losing wickets to Natalie Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, and Sophia Dunkley.

With a brave 54 off 35 balls, Tammy Beaumont launched a counterattack and achieved her first T20I fifty since 2021.

They scored 157/7 with the help of Amy Jones (32) and Sophie Ecclestone's late appearance (35 off 23 balls), but they were ultimately defeated. 

India Leads The 3-Match Series By 2-0, England Need To Save From Series Sweep

In order to prevent a series sweep, England needs to get back together fast. On Friday, July 4, the third Twenty20 International will take place at The Oval, with India hoping to win the series and England hoping to make a comeback.
