The 46th match of the 16th season of IPL has been changed in the schedule of Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings. In a statement issued by the IPL administration, it has been said that the match to be played between Lucknow and Chennai on May 4 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will be held on May 3 only. There has been no change in the time and venue of the match. Like before, the match will start at the scheduled time at Ekana Stadium at 3.30 pm.

Municipal elections will be held in Lucknow on May 4

This change has been made in view of the municipal elections to be held in Lucknow on May 4. Due to security reasons, the IPL administration decided to have the match a day earlier than the scheduled day. So that there is no problem regarding security.

Lucknow and Chennai both have 6-6 points

16th season of IPL, the performance of Chennai and Lucknow has been excellent. The team of Lucknow Super Giants has played 5 matches so far, out of which they have won 3, along with this the team is at number two in the points table with 6 points. On the other hand, the team of Chennai Super Kings has won 3 out of 5 matches so far, CSK is third in the point table with 6 points.
